1. Life at Chimney Rock Festival is a free event on June 6 and 7 (10 A.M. to 4 P.M. both days). This family-oriented event provides interactive demonstrations of crafts and skills of the Ancestral Puebloan people in addition to a Native American arts and crafts market and food vendors. No reservations required and no need to book in advance. Click here for more info or call 970-731-7133.
2. A series of youth workshops will be held this summer at Chimney Rock National Monument. The courses are intended for kindergartners through 6th graders. Prices are very reasonable. Click here to see a list of class descriptions. A descriptive flyer for the event is available here. It includes course dates, times and costs for the workshops. You can volunteer to help with the workshops, too.
