SJBAS member and FLC Professor Andrew Gulliford will participate in a program on Tuesday, March 10th, at the Durango Public Library, starting at 6:00 p.m. and lasting about 90 minutes. The Power of Place: Exploring the History and Culture of Southwest Colorado will include brief presentations (and topics) by Charles DiFerdinando (Southwest Colorado Immigration), Johnny Valdez (the Brunot Agreement), Jeff Johnson (Railroad History & Lore), Peggy Montano (Hispano & Bosque Sheepherders) and Andrew Gulliford (Public Lands), and will be followed by a moderated discussion and audience Q&A.
